Overview/Uses
CEASEFIRE™ is a class of revolutionary flame-retardant, intumescent agents that are ideal for incorporation into, but not limited to, thermoset coatings and foams, potting compounds, fiberglass reinforced structures, electrical laminates, thermal plastics, paints, films, and resins. CEASEFIRE™ contains no borates, hydroxides, halogens, antimony, or brominated products, nor does it produce toxic gases, smoke, or hazardous fumes. CEASEFIRE™ has been customized and successfully incorporated into a wide variety of resin systems to serve a vast number of industries.The CEASEFIRE™ product line is divided into two main categories based on the same intumescent technology:
Additives
Our individual additives begin with the same basic ingredients, combined at different ratios and fine tuned with additional chemicals to enhance results. Each is designed to answer the specific requirements of a particular resin system, and, accordingly, undergo different compliance tests to validate their effectiveness as a flame retardant compound.

Ready-to-use Coatings
Our full line of ready-to-use coatings contain our intumescent technology and offer ease of application with a minimum of Class A protection, often achieved with less than a 10mil thickness. In most cases, a greater level of fire protection can be achieved, depending on the coating used, the thickness of the application, and the fire specification which needs to be met.
