CEASEFIRE™ Additives

All of our CEASEFIRE™ powder additives are organo phosphates free of halogens, toxins, and corrosive gasses. They each have a char forming efficiency of at least 99%.

AC-2

CEASEFIRE™ AC-2 is ideal for incorporation into thermoset coatings and foams, potting compounds, fiberglass reinforced structures, as well as electronic laminates and many other applications. CEASEFIRE™ AC-2 has been proven successful in epoxy, phenolic, acrylic, vinyl acetate, urethane and PVC resin systems.

AC-3

CEASEFIRE™ AC-3 is recommended for use in both indoor and outdoor application in resins including epoxies, acrylates, polyvinyl acrylate, PVA emulsions, and PVC. Applications where CEASEFIRE™ AC-3 has found utility vary greatly from waterborne paints and adhesives to wire and cable.

AC-3WM

CEASEFIRE™ AC-3WM is a unique amino phosphate that can be used to suppress smoke and prevent burning in polyolefin such as polypropylene and polyethylene. It is also effective in polyurethane foams and coatings.

DBK

CEASEFIRE™ DBK is a highly efficient phosphate-based halogen-free fire-retardant intumescent agent. It has a slightly acidic pH, and is water insoluble. CEASEFIRE™ DBK is recommended for use in both indoor and outdoor application in two-part urethanes. Applications where CEASEFIRE™ DBK has found utility vary greatly from urethane adhesives, non-skid coatings, and urethane potting and encapsulating systems.

Liquid

CEASEFIRE™ Liquid has also been used on its own or in conjunction with CEASEFIRE™ powders to achieve powerful fire retardancy. It has found special use in projects which require clear finishes.
